Arif Mete IŞIK completed his Master’s degree in Economic Law at Galatasaray University in 2021. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2020 and from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 2007.
Between 2009 and 2020, he served as an Inspector within the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Throughout his tenure as an Inspector, he conducted extensive audits and examinations in the fields of labor and social security practices, labor legislation, wage calculations, workplace inspections in compliance with ILO regulations, ISKUR legislation and incentive schemes, monitoring and evaluation of incentive utilization processes, sector-based research and development activities, inspections of healthcare institutions, risk and working conditions audits, minimum wage practices, employer–employee relations and disputes, principal employer–subcontractor relationships, state incentives, planning and organization, and training activities.
Based on the technical and legal expertise acquired during this period, he also served as a court-appointed expert witness in the judicial system for seven years. In this capacity, he provided specialized expert services including fault determination in damage and accident cases, actuarial compensation calculations, reporting and documentation related to employee receivables, and the management of processes concerning employer–employee disputes.
Following his inspection experience, within the scope of his legal practice, he provides legal services in the areas of contract law, transactions arising from international trade and international law, distributorship, sole agency and dealership agreements, entrepreneur–angel investor processes, real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate tax and legal process consultancy for corporate entities.
Thanks to his extensive command of labor and social security legislation, he offers strategic consultancy to companies in benefiting from national and international funds as well as state incentive mechanisms. Additionally, through his office in Estonia, he provides professional support in import and export transactions, international trade law, company incorporations, commercial contracts, and visa and residence permit procedures.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Estonia-based MLC Investment OÜ, he conducts projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and finance, taking an active role in initiatives aimed at integrating commercial data into AI-based systems and bringing buyer and seller groups together through AI-supported automation solutions.
